Sharla de Frere

Prior to joining NCTM in 2025, Sharla was the founder and principal of a financial consulting firm specializing in the development and maintenance of accounting processes and procedures, as well as financial analyses, for small businesses. Her prior experience includes senior financial analyst roles with EDS and Dell Computer, as well as several years in credit analysis with Comerica Bank. Sharla holds a BS in Business Administration from Trinity University, as well as a MA in Latin American Studies and MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. At NCTM, Sharla assists with daily accounting and business functions, as well as serves as a liaison between project PI’s, sponsors, NCTM, and TEES to ensure timely execution of the administrative tasks related to project management.
