Summary
We’re relaunching the BioFORCE summer camp for high school students (rising sophomores, rising juniors, and rising seniors) interested in biology, pharmacy, biotechnology, and medicine! Campers will be introduced to career opportunities in the rapidly expanding biomanufacturing industry through participation in NCTM lectures, biomanufacturing facility and research lab tours, and laboratory activities. Students will gain hands-on experience with college-level labs including bacterial transformation, protein purification, aseptic technique, and more! This is a week-long, overnight summer camp operated through Texas A&M Youth Adventure Program (YAP) and costs $1299 including lodging, transportation (during camp), meals, supervision, and participation in tours, lectures, and lab activities.
