TRIBEC Summit

Texas Regional Industrial Biomanufacturing Education Certification (TRIBEC) Summit will be held at the National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing (NCTM) in College Station, TX.

We will be discussing the TRIBEC program curriculum, exploring opportunities to get state funding for the program, tying curriculum to the Texas Skills Standards and other outside accreditation alignment initiatives, and discussing how partners are navigating the “for credit” side at their individual institutions.  We will also use this as an opportunity to fast track the contract through the necessary channels.  We will also have an opportunity to tour NCTM’s simulated cGMP facility, and discuss the capstone experience we are proposing.

Please feel free to invite your institution’s leadership, as appropriate, as well as your local economic developing representatives.  Day 1 will be a higher-level overview of the program for leadership and partners, Day 2 will be drilling down into the program details, execution, and best practice sharing among the program partners.

Day 1 (7/11)

NCTM Tour

Morning session: A high level overview for leadership, EDC partners, TRIBEC partner leadership, and legislators. 

Afternoon session: Two breakout sessions—one for contracting/legal groups to review the contract and one for industry representatives and TRIBEC partners to review the curriculum and skill standards alignment

Day 2 (7/12)—Working groups for TRIBEC partner instructors.

Morning session: Talks about integrating TRIBEC into “for credit” curriculum

Afternoon session: Alignment between curriculum contributors for specific TRIBEC topics, logistics for rollout
