This short course, organized by Texas A&M’s Food Protein Research & Development Center and the National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing, provides practical training in the field of cell culture, bioreactor operation, bioprocess paradigm, and separation technology. Participants will increase their understanding of sterilization technologies and related clinical implications. Subject matter experts will lead participants in a review of new technologies in fermentation and separation for the food and drug industries through simulation and hands-on lab activities, including scale-up.
