Texas A&M and Blinn College students turned out en masse on October 27, 2016, to receive career advice from regional pharmaceutical manufacturing professionals during a panel hosted by the NCTM. More than seventy (70) students converged on NCTM’s lecture halls today to learn how to enter the field from a microbiologist who works in the Validation and Quality Assurance, a biochemist and immunologist who is a biopharma company project Manager, and a director of manufacturing for a vaccine/biotherapeutics Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO). The event was organized by the Texas A&M Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology Student Association (FKA the Texas A&M ISPE Student Chapter), whose mission is to connect students to these growing industries.
