Bio
Daniela joined NCTM as a research scientist in January 2023 but previously collaborated with the center as a postdoctoral research associate working with upstream, downstream and analytics activities. She has previous experience in the food industry as well as academic research with supercritical fluids technology, encapsulation methods, chromatography, TFF, protein analysis, and electrochemistry and materials science for the design of biosensors. Daniela holds a Ph.D. in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University with an Outstanding Engineering Ph.D. Graduate Student Award from the College of Engineering.
