Bio

Patti joined NCTM part-time as Assistant Director in 2024. She supports workforce development activities and partnerships, creation of funding proposals, and project management. Patti is an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology and a Faculty Advisor to the TAMU Chapter of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE). She previously provided career services to Texas A&M University students and science-related recruiting employers. She has worked in regulatory affairs, project management, and clinical development in large and small pharmaceutical companies, and she has developed and taught K-12 curriculum in science and math. She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University, a Texas Educator Certificate in Chemistry and Physical Science, and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Duke University.
