NCTM will host "Protein is Ca$h," a workshop designed for high school science teachers, during the week of August 4-8. This workshop is funded by the National Science Foundation through a grant awarded to the Northeast Biomanufacturing Center and Collaborative (NBC2) and will be free of charge to all participants. "Protein is Ca$h" provides hands-on training in lab practices such as metrology with pipetting olympics, protein production, and protein purification, allowing teachers to gain the knowledge and skills needed to teach these and other applications in their classrooms.

NCTM partners with NBC2 and NSF to deliver Protein Is Ca$h: An Introduction to Biomanufacturing for high school science teachers. This workshop provides hands-on training in lab practices such as metrology and protein production and purification, presentations by industry experts, and tours of pharmaceutical companies.
