Technical Capabilities
Biomanufacturing capabilities across upstream and downstream processing, as well as quality control support, for process development, purification, and analytical testing.
- Upstream Processing
- NCTM offers BSL-1 and BSL-2 upstream processing capabilities, including fermentation systems ranging from shake flasks to 100L scale. Cell culture capabilities support processes from T-flasks through 50L scale, providing flexible options for process development, testing, and scale-up activities.
- Downstream Processing
- NCTM’s downstream processing capabilities include centrifugation, homogenization, chromatography, and filtration systems. Both normal flow filtration and tangential flow filtration technologies are available to support purification, separation, and product recovery processes.
- Quality Control
- NCTM maintains a fully equipped quality control laboratory to support analytical testing and quality assessment needs for biomanufacturing projects.
